Join me at the back-bar in Cupacity as we explore ten different types of Amaro liqueurs, giving each a chance to dance on the palate. This is a wonderful introduction to the world of these bitter beauties. We will discuss the different types of Amari & their flavor profiles, as well as their applications in modern craft cocktail making.
Cost of workshop includes a sampling of 10 different Amari [including my own hand-crafted one] & your choice of a drink from our Limited Edition Amaro Cocktail Menu, where you can find a cocktail crafted with a newly discovered favorite amaro! Also included, as we will be stimulating those digestive juices, are delicious & exciting 'Amuse Bouche' delicacies crafted in the Cupacity Kitchen & perfect for palate cleansing.
Amari have been around for centuries & are the secret stars of more & more cocktails these days, but many people are still unfamiliar with them. This is an excellent chance to learn about & taste them without the commitment of purchasing many expensive bottles. Included in our sampling: Meletti, Aperol, Nonino, Fernet Branca, Montenegro, both Yellow & Green Chartreuse, Cynar, Campari,& my own 'Summer Garden' amaro.
