Du Jardin ~ from the garden

My husband & i were blessed with 2 beautiful girls. When I was diagnosed with MS, I couldn't keep up the pace working retail. We decided on a simpler life, built a cabin in the woods, & moved to mid-coast Maine.

Years ago, I worked as an aromatherapist in San Francisco, making soaps & products for my customers. Our move to Maine has allowed me to revisit this passion. Having always been obsessed with gardening, herbs, & aromatherapy, I began making soaps & salves to provide my family with healthy options; it is so exciting to now be able to share these products with all of you as well.
I am thrilled to be creating & blending once again, & even more so to be able to use our own home-grown herbs where possible.

Throughout the years I have developed recipes for unique & luxurious natural soaps & body products. We now have regular items which I stock continuously, as well as exciting one-of batches inspired by whatever craziness I get up to when soap-making! The seasons, what I'm reading, & what is growing in my gardens influence me greatly.

All our items are hand crafted in small batches with all natural ingredients, wild-foraged & locally sourced where possible, including items from our own gardens. Each bar of our soap is hand cut & unique in appearance -- literally one of a kind, & has been cured for a lengthy time. All of our items will arrive to you with minimal, ECO-friendly packaging. Minimal Impact, with maximum effectiveness.
