These over-sized French market baskets are perfect for laundry or storage around the house. Hand-woven from date palm leaves, with thick, short leather handles. Woven for lightness, strength and flexibility, The look of a market basket, only supersized! The XL is 18" high, 24" across, while the LG is 14" high, 21" across, though sizes vary slightly as items are hand woven. Large baskets are double woven to ensure extra-strength & durability. The flat bottom means the baskets can stand upright on their own, while the two sets of sturdy leather handles let you tote it around to get where you’re going with ease. Sturdy & flexible, simple & chic. Leather handles are untreated & will develop a lovely patina with use.
