Regular consumption of rockrose has been shown to alter body odor, making you less attractive to biting insects & working as an effective repellent to ticks & mosquitos.
Systemic Effect: When you drink the tea, the plant’s polyphenols & volatile oils are excreted through your skin, creating a subtle scent that deters ticks.
The Volume: Aim for 1 to 3 cups per day, up to 4 c daily for maximum benefit. It takes a few days for the compounds to excrete through your skin, so be patient during the first week of consumption.
Taste: The tea has a mild, earthy, astringent taste. You can add honey to improve the flavor.
