They can also be used for decoration or to hold jewelry, keys, etc.-Each piece is a one-of-a-kind, unique shape, depending on the piece of wood it is carved from. Olive wood is a hard wood making it very dense & durable for everyday use. Olive wood is nonporous so no germs or odors are retained. Each piece is made from a single piece of wood-- they are seamless & no two pieces are alike.
