Locally Foraged Rose Hips, Fresh & Dried
We offer these delicacies a few different ways: fresh foraged & whole, dried whole, & dried cleaned. Our fresh hips are foraged locally from briar rose, dog roses [rosa canina] & wild beach roses [rosa rugosa.] They are sold whole & suitable for tea, jam, or cosmetic use. [be sure to clean out seeds/hairs prior to consuming] Dried whole hips are perfect for infusing in oil or for potpourris or steeping as tea. While the cleaned, dried hips can also be used this way.
A real treat, they are prized for their high Vitamin C levels. The dog rose hips are prized for their flavor, while our wild beach roses produce amazing hips the size of cherry tomatoes! Sold by volume in 2 oz [about 30 grm] bags & 4 oz bail-jars that contain 3 ounces by volume [45grm] of dried herbs.
